Miss Khetha Buthelezi obtained a BCom in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg in 2007. She brings a wealth of expertise in project oversight, public administration, accounting, and communication management, with a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
With over 10 years of experience, Khetha has honed her leadership style, which is grounded in mutual respect, honest communication, and trust, all while maintaining a focus on the bottom line. She is known for her strong work ethic, governance, and a competitive attitude that enables her to thrive under pressure. Her solid experience in diverse project coordination, administration, and management, coupled with her commitment to effective communication and team collaboration, positions her as a valuable asset to any organization.
In her career, Khetha has spent more than 5 years in the local municipal environment, gaining substantial experience in budgeting, reporting, business planning, supply chain management, and local economic development. She possesses a thorough understanding of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and various other public policies.
Khetha is also deeply invested in entrepreneurial spaces and projects related to local economic development. Currently residing in Newcastle, she frequently travels to Johannesburg and surrounding areas for project-related activities.
